I am a Licensed Professional Optician and have been providing quality service for over 23 years. I’ve been the proud owner of Bayview Optical, Inc. for more than 14 years.  My mission is to guarantee that EVERY customer feels welcomed and is provided the best vision care and friendly service possible.  I measure the success of my business by the high number of returning satisfied customers and their referrals. My customers trust me with their eye care needs. Because of this trust, I consider my customers friends and thought of as family.

 

 

Dr. Robert Vanderkleed, O, D., F.A.A.O. DR.Robert Vanderkleed, o, d., F.a.a.o.

Dr. Robert Vanderkleed is our new Eyecare specialist with Bayview Optical. He comes 35 years of expertise in treatment of eye diseases, contact lens fittings as well as well as routine eye examinations. He is proficient in post operative care of lasik and cataract procedures.

Dr. Vanderkleed received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He did an externship at the VA Hospital American Lake in Tacoma, Washington, specializing in ocular disease. In 1980 he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. As an Optometric Physician much of his private practice was pathology and co-management of ocular diseases and works closely with ophthalmologists in the area.

Bayview Optical and Eyecare is excited to have Dr. Robert Vanderkleed on staff providing the warm and friendly care that we are noted for.
